Antz says :When talking about how we made the decision to end our marital status as 'Single', I can only describe it as a very natural outcome. Since I was in ARMY, I was already thinking of it!! Though we are 24 and 22 respectively, 'Too young for marriage' has never come into our minds. In fact we have been together for 8 years (Counting this year 2008). So we thought that better do so before our 'Steady status' reaches a decade! This year, was probably the time to tie the knot.One thing which played a majority part in our decision - Feng Shui books!!I started flipping through Feng Shui books in bookstores (after Lillian Too was being intro to me by my colleagues) It was Jan 08, where I was reading Year Outlook for RAT & COW 2008. It wrote something like this : "This is a good year to tie the knot for couples." At that moment I was thinking, really that coincidence? So I read another one (those A4 size Chinese 'Hong Swee' book), also the same!! During the Chinese New Year Eve Channel 8 programme, that Feng Shui practitioner say exactly the similar stuff!!! Jazs & I were thinking, Really ma...Counting the years... Staring at each other.... Wondering...."Shall we?" I asked.Jazs nodded in agreement.Looking at each other, feeling simply blissful that we are confirming on this decision!So up next is to choose the date of ROM.. I did another 'Lao ah pek' stunt. I didn't search the 'Tong shu', but I used the chinese calendar (Those where your parent tear a piece per day, with lots chinese writings) Using the 'TODAY suitable for : Wedding' to find the good date.Don't laugh at me la.... One of my friend got her wedding date from 'Feng Shui Master' leh!! So not only me superstitiousSo after long time of searching and discussion with my Mum, we landed on this date18th Dec 2008.
Coincidence enough, this is a GOOD date! (Had already checked with Chinese GOD liao!! Courtesy of Jazs' Granny) *I really not that kinda old-brainy fella, please don't judge me with my above actions!!!Anyway, it somehow makes us feel really good that it is SOoooo!! suitable for us to ROM on that day! = )
